This is a powerful book. “Grounded” may be the title, but its pages soar to the heights of spiritual revelation, social enlightenment, and moral fortitude. Tajo’s voice rings true, unfiltered, and authentic. His true story is not merely a narrative; it is a tapestry woven with threads of philosophy, spirituality, religion, and the immutable fabric of moral and ethical principles. Amidst the turmoil and tribulations, his unwavering resolve to cling to his dreams and fight for justice is a testament to the fortitude of the human spirit. The cornerstone of a democratic society is the ability to express oneself freely and is essential for holding those in power accountable and for fostering a culture of open and respectful dialogue. In a world where freedom of speech is increasingly under threat, this book is a call to action, urging us to stand up for the rights of others, even when it is difficult or uncomfortable to do so.

Wow! While the title is “Grounded “ the contents are most elevating with strong and uplifting spiritual, social and moral wisdom and edification.
Initially, I was concerned about the style but I realised that with a book like this it’s best the author tell his story as he wants too … and you did a wonderful job.
There were times my emotions were high and tears welled, other times, anger filled me. Those tasked with protecting humanity and ensuring that justice be not delayed failed miserably.
This is a great book filled with one man’s unrelenting struggles to hold on to a dream and fight for justice. This true story is filled with philosophy, spiritualism, religion, moral and ethical codes, and naked facts of deceit, procrastination and wickedness.
I enjoy reading your life story and will do so a second time at a slower pace. Best of luck.

The writer takes us on a journey of his struggle to achieve his lifelong dream of flying. From his humble beginnings to becoming a pilot for a government owned airline (BWIA).
Through the airline’s negligence, he experienced an injury that would forever change his life.
We follow the writer through his legal battles attempting to make him whole, eventually having to settle for much less.
Eventually another company in another country would take a chance, and his dream to fly would once again, be realized for a short period, before retirement.

An extremely powerful story of a young Trinidadian boy, from his late high school days through years of living in Canada to achieving his lifelong dream of becoming a Pilot.
His early upbringing prepared him for a life of humility and also of resilience, but through injustices- large and small, he came to realize that he was an “invincible man”. His employer saw in him only a reflection of their preconceived ideas of what he was, denied him his rightful compensation, and ultimately exposed themselves by their betrayal of public trust. This theme, which has implications far beyond the obvious of one man’s struggle for justice, is skillfully handled. The incidents of the story are wholly absorbing. The dismissal from his dream job because of an innocent mistake, his shocked reaction to the way his justice was denied, his nightmare experiences on a daily basis as he navigates the legal system looking for justice, his strong faith in his religion, his love for family and his understanding of his inner strength – all climax naturally in scenes of dark days, recovery, followed by injustice. Parts of this experience may have been told before, but never with such freshness, intensity and power.
This is Tajo’s first novel, but he has complete control of his story and his style. Read it.

I read your manuscript, and I must that it is very emotionally charged. I could envision the peaks and valleys of your emotional journey, as one chapter closed and another chapter opened with new hope and outlook. Unfortunately, I think you were surrounded by corruption; I have a belief that you should never trust politicians, they only do what serves them best and really do not care about anyone or anything else. Even though at times, it appeared that you were on the right track.
It is too bad you had to go through this very difficult challenge without success; I think it is a good thing that you are sharing this with others, so that they may be aware in dealing not only in like matters, but they are applications for life in general.
Wishing you the very best.
